I know this is a forum about Anna Vissi but I thought it would only be right to open a topic exclusively on Nikos Karvelas. I think he deserves it don't you? I know we've had things like Nikos+Annita and stuff which should have been here really.
Anyway this topic is dedicated exclusively to Anna's ex-husband, songwriter & closest friend in the world.
Any news, info, gossip, pictures etc place them here.
Thanks!
Nikos Karvelas (2006 Greek entry composer) is publishing a book titled Pistevo (I Believe). A book written in a hard language but with an excellent usage of the Greek language. The content of the book should be about personal beliefs and experiences.
Nikos Carvelas (2006 composer) publishes his second book
Nikos Carvelas' (composer of the 2006 Greek entry "Everything" with Anna Vissi) case requires sobering thought - not psychoanalysis, as he rejects the existence of the soul. Carvelas, genuine, extreme, eccentric and lost in his own personal sublimity, presents his beliefs and his philosophy in a 118 page book, divided into 12 chapters with ambitious headings: "The origins of repetitionism" (sic), "Problem-solution and the technological sub-man" (sic), "The magnetic field of vision and aim", "Neo-minotaurism and the natural law of inequality". Carvelas puts down his own questions on existence, life, happiness, politics, technology, morality, church, God, under the general title of "Pistevo" (Creed) , like a prayer, a scream or a commandment.
"I believe in the theory which I call repetitionism or theory of repetitionism". "I believe that I have already written, what I'm writing now, in the same place and in the same time and I have already done everything I'm going to do from now on, without being aware of it, and I'm going to do them again". "I believe that people, by solving their problems, create an uninteted situation, ostensibly merciful, which in essence lead them to the absolute impasse. The human functions are substituted by technological inventions, which in effect incapacitate people". "I believe that Jesus came to earth to exalt and multiply people's problems, and that is something that history proves". "I believe it's time for people to get rid of all the bugbears of religion. I believe it's the time to react on the conspicuous and criminal disgrace of Church. Church is a rapacious business and this is beyond argument". "I believe people themselves are a hubris for homosexuality. Hubris, because I believe that homosexuality is an absolutely normal human behaviour, which proceeds from free-will. I believe that homosexuality is not in the least immoral nor is it unnatural". "Socrates was untaught. Mozart hadn't studied counterpoint from his early 6, for sure. One's ability to create is not studied nor is it acquired. It is immanent. Maybe that's because I have never studied".
This is Carvelas' second book - his first one been published two months before Eurovision 2006: "Piimata+Meyisto Fos" (Poets+Sublime Light).

Anna Vissi is happy that her composer Nikos Karvelas will may be singing on a stage starting this December. Anna Vissi said that she will do anything to see again Nikos Karvelas on stage and that she will support him on anything he needs. I will be there every night to watch Nikos singing because I am his biggest FAN
If Nikos decides to sing on stage this winter, we will see many duets with Anna, since Anna very easily gets on stage, when she is having fun. _________________ Jack Bauer is endless rock'n'roll

I found this song of Nikos on Youtube, and it's been in my head since. From the little that I understand of the lyrics, it's not a very polite song Which is great when you are not in a very polite mood anyway.

Ok, I'm being too curious and asking too many questions, but does anyone know how things are with Nikos' and Anita's baby? Is he born yet? Or when is he due? _________________ Καλύτερα οι δύο μας Θα ταιριάξουμε.
