I found a few articles about Karvelaki (awwww so cute a name hahaha), and I did my usual bad translations of them. Here they are

My dear readers,

What better way could 2008 have started for Nikos Karvelas and Annita Pania, then for the presenter to give birth to their son on the first day of the year?
The couple had plans to have the baby born a few days later, but it appears however that he was in a hurry to come into the world, and so on Tuesday morning Annita gave birth to baby Karvelaki through a Caesarean. They say he looks like his father.
With Annita in the clinic were Karvelas and Annita’s parents. A little while after the birth, Sofia Karvelas visited. She is terribly happy with her newborn brother. One of the first visitors was an ex of Karvelas, Christina Anagnostopoulou, whereas Anna Vissi couldn’t visit right away, because she was in Cyprus for a concert.

Happy New Year with…..Karvelaki (Litte Karvelas)!

On this first day of 2008, at 11 p.m. Karvelaki was born – he’s a healthy little boy of 3,5 kilo’s, who will be named Andreas (after his maternal grandfather). There had been an appointment made for a Ceaserean in a famous clinic in Athens for some day in the beginning of January. But Annita Pania had pain in her abdomen these last few days – and Andreas was born earlier – a great gift for his parents!
Nikos Karvelas was in the clinic and waited nervously for the birth of their son. It wasn’t possible to be in the operating room until the Ceasarean was done, as you can understand, and so, when he heard the first cry of Andreas, he screamed of happiness. When the doctor opened the doors to tell him that he had a son, his joy can’t be described! When he saw the little boy, rumour has it that he said: “He looks like me! Tremble, world!”
The joy of Nikos was also shared by Annita Pania’s parents who were there too, and particularly happy was the namesake of the baby, the father of Anita. Others that were there were close relatives and friends of the couple. Apparently Sofia Karvelas was one of the first to visit the little boy and it has been said that she was over the moon with happiness and wanted to constantly hold her little newborn brother.
More composed was the mother, Annita, who faced the whole birth process with her well known humour.
Yesterday late at night Anna Vissi visited the clinic to see Andreas from close by – and she brought him gifts from her recent travel to the USA. She also congratulated the happy parents: her former much loved spouse and forever friend and mentor Nikos Karvelas and her beloved friend Annita Pania. They say that Andreas Karvelas has been recognised as the legal child of Nikos and Annita, so it doesn’t matter whether or not his parents will get married in the future or not. Of course he was then also given his name, and like we said in the beginning of the article it is the name of the father of Annita, Andreas Pania. May he have a wonderful life!
